The GRTU is a compact Remote Terminal Unit (RTU) used to optimise the quality and the service in the electricity Networks. It provides full remote control and command of the network/customer electrical MV cubicles. The GRTU is fully certified to ensure the compatibility and the interoperability with the existing DMS supervisory station, e.g. LYNX, for management and full control according to most of the international industrial communication standards. More than thousand GRTU units are currently in installation phase in Brussels (Belgium).
