The applications developed by GILLAM-FEi in the field of remote control have several first-rate competitive advantages, resulting from more than fifteen years of development.
The core element of this type of applications is LYNX, a software suite that is focused on network equipments monitoring and control from Remote Terminal Units, whether they are manufactured by GILLAM-FEI or provided by other manufacturers.  LYNX allows information acquisition, processing (including time-stamped events analysis, data archiving…) and handling.  The hardware and software configurations that are used allow fulfilling the hardest requirements in terms of reliability and user interface.
These quality criteria allow the system to run in the most hostile environments, on every communication channel, with an exceptional usability.  The LYNX software environment has been developed in a multi-tasks approach.  Indeed our application enables to monitor and remote control electricity, gas and water networks.  LYNX has been commissioned with the greatest satisfaction of our customers in fields as diversified as:

 Remote management of water, gas and electricity networks production and distribution;
 Remote management of data transmission networks ;
 Remote management of infrastructures for public transport and airports networks ;

LYNX DMS provides management support functions (Distribution Management System) enabling to fit all the needs required by operating managers of electricity distribution networks.  LYNX will provide soon Energy Management System with a specific State Estimator module.
